FolkStone offers residential placements for persons with acquired brain injury, developmental disabilities and other significant health conditions. We work closely with the referring authorities, including Vancouver Coastal Health, Fraser Health and Community Living BC, to develop plans of care that are individually tailored. This may involve searching for, or creating, the environment to suit an individual’s needs!
We help residents to live safely in the community with as much independence as possible. FolkStone provides appropriate and stimulating social and recreational activities and ensures interaction with friends for emotional support.
FolkStone Family Care Homes are located throughout the BC Lower Mainland. Nursing and care assistant staff provide support and supervision, with 24 hour availability. Staff visit all clients for regularly scheduled visits, follow-up and caregiver consultation.
